I am with my family - primarily my mother and father, but my brother and sister are there as well. We are to attend a family reunion in the form of a Christmas party at a local luxury hotel. I do not want to attend and am quite angry about the whole affair.
We arrive at the hotel and go in. We go to the second floor where the party is to be held in a large conference room. Outside the conference room there are small vendors selling various upscale wares - clothes, accessories, etc. I am fuming at having to attend the party and am doing my very best to display my anger through my actions by pouting and remaining silent. My parents are either oblivious to my emotional frame of mind or are ignoring me. I’m not sure which, but not having my anger recognized or acknowledged makes me even more angry. We pick through the various wares displayed by the vendors and I continue to fume in futility.
